Zodiac Aerospace Herculight S cargo container is lighter and stronger than ever before, thanks to newly developed Endumax panels.

World Cargo Symposium, Berlin March 15-17, 2016 - Since the launch in 2013, Herculight S containers are the lightest available in the air cargo market. Adding to that, the Herculight S container design will also be available with the even lighter Endumax panels.

Zodiac Aerospace does not compromise on durability to achieve lightweight, hence the combina%on of both aspects was approached as a design challenge in close collabora%on with the Endumax supplier Teijin Aramid. In result, the weight of an AKE container is brought down to 51kg / 112 lbs, while the durability of the panels has increased even further. Endumax, also used in applica%ons such as bulletproof armor, is the latest addi%on in a row of reinforcement op%ons available for Herculight S containers. All Zodiac AirCargo equipment is designed to thrive in the common rough environments of ULD handling, and these reinforcement op%ons are perfect for the most extreme situa%ons.
