MXP Cool Centre - Controlled Temperature Handling
With an annual capacity of 80.000 tonnes and direct air-side access, MXP Cool Centre is the Temperature
Controlled Handling area within Alha MXP Cargo Terminal.
MXP Cool Centre offers state-of-the-art facilities, live temperature monitoring, temperature controlled truck
docks and 4.000 sqm of temperature-controlled handling and storage areas for temperature-sensitive shipments.
With multi-tiered temperature zones ranging from -20°C to 25°C, it is designed to handle a wide range of
perishables including biomedical and pharmaceutical products, fresh cut flowers, fruits, vegetables, fresh cheese,
meat, seafood and any kind of goods requiring precise temperature settings.
PharmaZone - Centre of Excellence for HealthCare Handling
PharmaZone is the new centre for Pharma and Healthcare Handling in MXP,
developed in accordance with the GDP Guidelines and in compliance with the
requirements of IATA Pharma CEIV Certification.
PharmaZone set-up started in November 2014 and is expected to be
completed on schedule by February 2015

IATA Pharma CEIV - Alha Certification Process
The IATA Center of Excellence for Independent
Validators (CEIV Pharma) is a standardized global
certification program that trains and conducts onsite
assessments to provide the expertise needed
adequately to transport cold-chain pharmaceutical
products across the world.
Alha has started its Certification Process in
November 2014 and is expected to achieve the IATA
Pharma CEIV Certification for the Cargo Terminal in
MXP by the first half of 2015.
As a second step, Alha will also start the Certification
Process for the Cargo Terminal in FCO and for the
Domestic/European Trucking Network.
TAPA TACSS Level 1 - Healthcare Handling meets the Highest Security Standards
Alha Cargo Terminal in MXP has been the first cargo terminal to obtain TAPA TACCS Level 1 in EMEA Region.
As a leading Provider in Europe for Secure Services in the Air Cargo Industry and as Founder and Coordinator of the
Italian TAPA Working Group, Alha MXP provides the highest security standards in the EMEA Region for any kind of
high-value shipments, including biomedical and pharmaceutical products.
In addition to the handling services in MXP, Alha offers a number of trucking solutions for HealthCare Products that
require enhanced security standards.
